Summary: Samuel B. Moore was an Alexandria, VA, physician and surgeon, president of the Virginia Medical Society, and chief surgeon of the Alexandria Hospital. Two scrapbooks created by his daughter Inez relate to the membership and activities of the Potomac Valley Conservation and Recreation Council, in which she was active, as well as to regional conservation issues, preservation of the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal, Rock Creek Park, and parks and wildlife in general.
